Kalyse is a licensed cosmetologist and cosmetology educator from Chicago, Illinois, with a passion for hair that began at just 13 years old. She is a proud graduate of Pivot Point, known as the “Harvard” of cosmetology schools, and completed cosmetology school in 2005 before later earning her cosmetology educator license.
With a love for haircutting, color, and healthy hair care, Kalyse created a blow-dry bar designed especially for curly girls who want beautiful results without compromising the health of their hair.

Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, she has proudly called Dallas, Texas home for the past six years. Licensed for four years, she specializes in natural hair care, textured hair, and silk presses, with a passion for helping clients achieve healthy, beautiful hair while feeling confident in their natural texture.
Known for her welcoming personality and fun energy, she loves meeting new people and creating an enjoyable experience for every guest who sits in her chair. Her goal is not only to help clients look amazing, but to make them feel amazing too.

Victory Lynnae - Stylist
Victory Lynnae is a Stylist and recent graduate of Ogle School with a growing passion for healthy hair and beauty. Specializing in faux locs, she is also continuing to advance her skills in silk presses and select extension services as she builds her career in the beauty industry.
A true Texas girl through and through, Victory brings fun energy, creativity, and a welcoming spirit to every client experience. She is excited to continue growing her business here at Silkpress Xpress while sharing her passion for hair with both current and future clients.

Izaysha Reeves - Stylist
Izaysha (Zay) is a recent graduate of Ogle Cosmetology School with a passion for healthy hair and enhancing natural beauty. She enjoys performing silk presses and creating natural styles that help clients feel confident while maintaining the integrity of their hair.
Known for her positive energy and eagerness to grow within the beauty industry, Izaysha is dedicated to continuing her education, refining her skills, and providing every guest with a welcoming and enjoyable salon experience.

Jalliyah Mcgaha - Salon Assistant
Jalliyah is a recent graduate of VXO Beauty and is excited to begin her career at Silkpress Xpress as both a stylist and extensionist. Passionate about beauty, confidence, and healthy hair care, she specializes in extension services while also focusing on maintaining the health and integrity of her clients’ natural hair.
Although extension services are her favorite, Jalliyah looks forward to becoming a well-rounded dual stylist who can care for her clients’ natural tresses in between installs. She believes there is a shortage of extensionists who truly prioritize the health of the client’s natural hair, and she is committed to helping change that standard within the beauty industry.
