Kalyse is a licensed cosmetologist and licensed cosmetology educator from Chicago, Illinois, whose passion for hair began at just 13 years old. She proudly attended Pivot Point International—often referred to as the "Harvard of Cosmetology Schools"—where she received her cosmetology education in 2005 before later earning her cosmetology educator license.
With decades of experience behind the chair and in the classroom, Kalyse has built her career around precision haircutting, expert color services, and healthy hair care. Her passion for education and hair health inspired her to create Silkpress Xpress—a salon designed specifically for clients with textured and curly hair who love wearing their hair straight without sacrificing its health and integrity.

Jalliyah Mcgaha - Stylist Extensionist
Jalliyah is a recent graduate of VXO Beauty and is excited to have begun her career at Silkpress Xpress as both a stylist and extension specialist.
